‎Membership Orientation
Membership Orientation is an opportunity for both new and prospective BULYP members to learn ‎more about the history and mission of the National Urban League and the Birmingham Urban League, ‎our local affiliate. New and existing members also learn about each of the BULYP committees and get ‎a chance to talk to with the Committee Chairs about serving.‎

BULYP Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is an opportunity for potential members to learn more about the Birmingham ‎Urban League, the BULYP Strategic Plan, our accomplishments for the year, and how to get ‎involved with one of our standing committees. It also serves as a venue for the Executive Board ‎and the Committee Chairs to deliver their state of the BULYP reports.‎ ‎

Membership Socials
Whether it’s the annual member barbeque, movie nights, or just meeting up after work the membership socials serve ‎as an opportunity for BULYP members spend a great evening building relationships and taking a much needed break ‎from everyday activities.‎‎‎

Annual Holiday Party
The BULYP hosts an Annual Holiday Party in December to celebrate a great year of growth, ‎community involvement, and empowerment. A great evening of fun and fellowship, the holiday event ‎also serves as a fundraiser ‎dedicated to supporting the programs and services of the Birmingham Urban League.‎
